This compilation gathers all eighteen tracks from the Japan EPs released between May 2022 and October 2023 with a thoughtfully curated track order. The songs have been compiled to accompany a 90-minute cassette to sell at shows and selected record stores, also available in limited numbers here on Bandcamp.

The download includes all nine PDFs (maps, liner notes and diaries) included with the original EP releases.

* The Japan Series cassette is available as a bundle with Remixed (see Remixed page). If you want both tapes, the bundle is cheaper, and you'll receive a code to download The Japan Series.

* If you already own all four EPs and would like a free download or cost-price cassette, please get in touch. If you own three EPs, I’ve some codes for you too.

* These cassettes have been produced with a lower overall cost than the EPs (which actually lost money), but retail at a little more owing to considerably longer tape length. Also, rather than use a bespoke printer, the j-cards are printed by the cassette manufacturer. And unlike the EPs, these cassettes do not come with extra printed materials or outer sleeves.

Site Nonsite creates experimental music documenting connections to place, capturing personal memories with field recordings and spoken word. Site is the source, a place rich with scattered information and experiences; Nonsite is the resulting document, a multimedia abstraction of that place. (These guiding thoughts are adapted from land artist Robert Smithson’s 1968 Theory of Non-Sites.)

This is as good as the officially released WRNTDP titles on CIS. Very pleased to pick it up, where the pieces here are longer than most on the records they benefit from the slow unwinding they are afforded. The 18 minute live set excerpt is particularly immersive. Wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to release this on vinyl as a companion to the inevitable repressing of This Nation's Most Central Location. Great stuff. Oh and you get a cool magazine to read as well. Awesome. shaun rogan
